Do you deliver?
Yes we do. Please call the office or visit our Louisburg supply yard to place an order.
How much do boulders cost?
Most of our products, such as boulders are sold by weight.
How much is a pallet of flagstone?
Flagstone, like other stone products, is sold by weight. Pallets can range from 1 ton to 2 ton each.
What are your hours?
M-F 8 to 4, Sat 8 to 12 noon (during warm season). Check our Facebook page, Amborn Stone, for special hours or holiday closings.
Can you load my pickup truck or personal trailer?
Yes we can. You assume liability for any possible damage from rock products and must comply with legal weights. We ask that all customer be kind and safe and protect gravel and rock from falling off truck or trailers onto roadways (i.e. a trailers need to have sides and be tarped)
How much mulch do I get per scoup?
Our mulch bucket is about twice the size of a standard skid loader bucket. It is 1.2 cubic yards struck, each heaping bucket of mulch is about 1.3 to 1.5 cubic yards. This is equiveland to 15 to 20 bags of mulch per scoup.
How much river rock or gravel will I need for my project?
There are several online material calculators you and search and enter your information.
Typically, smaller gravel goes further. A coverage example is 1.5″ river rock will cover 100 square feet or more at 2″ thick.
Knowing your square footage and desired depth is a must when calculating quantities.
Do you sell less than bulk orders?
Yes, we sell small quantities by the pound.
